01Titanium core
Milled from a single sheet of titanium and formed into its final shape, with no welds or screws. The design includes two cutouts to reduce weight without compromising strength.
02Flannelette lining
Navy blue flannelette lines the case with the softness of fresh bedding, giving your glasses a gentle place to rest.
03Vegan leather
Soft, supple vegan leather wraps the entire case. With that softness in your hands every day, you’d never guess there’s a solid titanium core hidden beneath.
04Stitching
Both end seams are sewn with 30wt heavy-gauge thread for a sturdier stitch that holds the seams firmly together.
05Titanium signature
Solid titanium, engraved, with chamfered edges. The one piece of titanium you can see, as a mark of the one you can’t.

01The problem
How much pressure can a case take?
A case can look and feel well made, but its true strength comes from within. If the structure gives way under pressure, your glasses bear the force instead.
That’s why we rethought the case from the inside out.
02The solution
Rebuild the internal structure.
We kept the comfort of a soft exterior: plush in your hand, with a little give and a quiet touch when set down. Inside, we replaced the underlying structure with a titanium core, giving the case a foundation like no other predecessor.
- Material
- Drawing on decades of experience with titanium eyewear, we engineered the structural foundation of this case from a single sheet of titanium.
- Cutouts
- The dimensions and placement of the two cutouts are precisely calculated to remove excess material while preserving the core’s structural integrity.
- Process
- Milled from a single sheet of titanium, the core has no welds or screws. The sheet is then pressed into its curved profile and wrapped in navy blue flannelette.

03The core design
Shaped around a folded frame.
We shaped the core around a folded pair of glasses to keep the case as compact as possible, with room where the frame needs it and less case everywhere else.
The result is a case that is approximately 20% smaller in circumference than our regular case, while still being able to fit most glasses and sunglasses, including those from other brands.

How we tested it.
04The process
Refined, one iteration at a time.
We went through multiple iterations of the core, revisiting its proportions, thickness and cutouts with each version. We kept refining until the fit, strength and weight came together in a form we were satisfied with.
- Begin with the frame. We studied the profile of folded glasses and sunglasses to make room where it was needed, while keeping the case compact.
- Refine through prototypes. Each iteration was drawn, 3D printed and measured against the frames it would hold. Those measurements guided the adjustments to the next version.
- Balance strength and weight. We compared different thicknesses to arrive at a core that provides the strength we wanted without adding unnecessary bulk.
- Calculate the cutouts. We refined their shape, dimensions and placement to remove excess material while preserving the core’s structural integrity.

What makes this case different?
It’s the world’s first soft eyewear case designed around a titanium core.
Is the whole case titanium?
The entire internal core is titanium, wrapped in navy blue flannelette and a soft-touch vegan-leather exterior. The only titanium visible from the outside is the engraved O+ signature plate on the flap.
Why titanium?
Drawing on decades of experience with titanium eyewear, we engineered the case’s structural foundation from a single 1.3 mm sheet. Its strength for its weight lets the core stay slim, helping keep the case compact.
Will it fit frames from another brand?
Yes. The case fits most everyday glasses and sunglasses, including frames from other brands. Highly curved, wraparound sports eyewear is excluded.

What does “about 20% smaller” measure?
We compare circumference: the regular case measures 22 cm around, while this case measures 17.5 cm, a reduction of about 20%.
