The fastest way to an accurate prescription is to slow down.

Our optometrists make sure that each eye test follows a thorough, step-by-step assessment of your vision. We take the time to refine every measurement for your prescription, while also checking the health of your eyes.

What to expect during your eye test

Four stages. One comprehensive eye test.

  1. Auto refractor measuring a customer’s eyes
    01

    Auto Refraction

We begin with an objective measurement of how light focuses in your eyes, giving us an accurate starting point before refining your prescription.

  2. Customer completing a full refraction with an O+ optometrist
    02

    Full Refraction

Your optometrist carefully refines your prescription by hand. It's the process that transforms an initial measurement into one that's comfortable for everyday wear.

  3. Optometrist preparing a trial frame for a customer
    03

    Trial Frame

Before your lenses are ordered, you'll try your prescription in a trial frame to ensure it feels as good as it looks. Comfort is just as important as clarity.

  4. Customer having a fundus photograph taken
    04

    Fundus Examination

Finally, we also examine the back of your eye to assess your overall eye health. Some changes aren't noticeable without a closer look, making this an important part of every eye test.
